A team of Trailriders from the ballyhoura region have teamed up to form a mtb club called TEAM BALLYHOURA ,an official club affiliated to cycling Ireland.We have also teamed up with cube and with norco to race in the nps xc and downhill scene for 2010/2011. The club meets every thur eve 7pm at the trailhead and we have mass on every last sunday of every month(Monthly Away Sunday Spins)These will be spins to the 4 corners of Ireland covering all terrain in all weather. As a club we are doing personal biking skills/coaching in which we are hoping to improve all biking abilities,we also are doing juvenile sessions Trailriders consist of bikers from north Cork/Limerick who bumped into each other over the years in the ballyhoura region often seen frequenting the hidden streams,gullies,drops and the odd boulder around seefin and near by hills,over the years we have travelled to more of the all mt terrain of the lake district and the alps building up friendship and experience...then someone went too far and suggested downhilling and thats when the gloves cam off . International races will have representatives from the trailriders in such races as www.passportesdusoleil.com and the xc races of transgermany and the transwales. Guided trips abroad We have already booked up a trip of 12 riders to go to the alps in france (les gets,morzine ,les deux alpes,chamonix)As soon as we return in july we will dowmload headcams shots and photos,it booked up fast so for next year we will make more places available ,the package covers guiding,transport,airline costs,chalet,
